You will have to open up your network connections Click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled. Make sure your antivirus program is not blocking the internet connection. If you are trying to connect through a modem/router you it should have come with a disk then you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question ? exclamation mark ! or a red X right click install drivers. The driver might be on the disc supplied by your ISP internet service provider or the motherboard disc

Tick in either the all software or windows software box on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for you might have to search/try a few times to get it right IE: Motherboard name Ethernet drivers or lan drivers Hope this helps.

Click the start button, than click run. Type the word command and press enter. A DOS window will open. Type in: ipconfig than press enter. You should see something like:
Windows IP Configuration,
Ethernet adapter local area conncetion
Connection-specific DNS Suffix .:hsd1.xx.xxxxxxx.net.
Where xxx is my connection IP Address......:192.168.1.100
Subnet Mask......:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway......:192.168.1.1
If this is what you see your network card is connected & working. If you do not see this, than shut down the PC & remove the network card clean it's slot & reseat & reboot. To exit from the DOS window type exit & press enter.
While your Pc is shut down unplug the power to your Cable or DSL. Look for the reset button (a small hole), using a pen press & hold for ten seconds. Plug the power back in. Re-start your PC. Redo the above with ipconfig.

SOURCE: eMachines T3830 PC Desktop - HOW TO INSTALL A VEDIO CARD

There are a couple of things it could be. From simply checking the cable on both ends (computer to monitor) to see if they are loose. It could also be the card is damaged. I would check it with a second monitor to be sure.

Hold th epower button down on your tower for about 5-10 seconds and it should shut off. Then you can turn it back on. If that doesnt shut it down you can always pull the power cord.

Computer wont connect to the internet

You will need a USB flash drive with enough space on it to contain the drivers. With another computer, download the drivers by going to

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=403747&lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=403745&taskId=135

Select your operating system and scroll down to the networking section. Download the drivers and drag them to your USB drive.

Plug drive into the DC5000 and run the installation program or use Windows to find the drivers on the drive by manually pointing to them in the Windows hardware wizard.

Windows vista crashed. changed bios to load xp. worked. old files on hidden drive. problem is cant connect to internet. driver files on hidden drive. Now what? Try to find driver and load it?

your explanation is very confusing. your internet connection must come from a modem either directly or remotely thru router. your mentioning of hidden drive does not make sense. drivers are not part of internet connection. you need to reset the modem and router if you are connecting through it. turn everything off. unplug router and modem. after 15 seconds unplugged, plug only modem in, wait until lights stablize; now plug router power back in, wait for lights to come on;,next turn PC on. Wait until completely booted up. go to control panel click on Network Internet, when opens try to find the local connect to network. if none, then your modem is not receiving signal or IP Address from your internet provider(comcast, centurylink, whoever). check status, if active fine. if active but icon says no internet access then your router is not set correctly. you may have lost its set up and you will have to reset up your router. you should have the step or instructions for doing that. after resetting and network active, restart computer so that is receives fresh settings from router.
if no network is found after restart you may have to reconfigure your internet connect by using the internet connection wizard(control panel).

it seems that correct network drivers are missing. Easiest way is to download the drivers from manufacturors site, transfer them with USB stick and install.

I put a new hard drive in my machine, and cannot access internet because it says this machine doesn't have any installed network adapters. How do I install?

Hello, presumably you've reinstalled Windows after fitting your new drive. Well, you have to find all the drivers for your machine including the chipset drivers (importantly you must install these 1st)) then your system will 'see' the adapter. If you don't have your driver cd's, then you must go to the web site of Acer (obviously from a machine that can access the internet!) and download all the relevant drivers to a memory stick or burn 'em to a cd, then install them onto your own system. Trying to network xp pc to wireless laptop

Right click on the drive you want to share. Ex: C:\Vol-xx = name. In the pop up window click Sharing & Security. This needs done to all the drives you want access too. To share a printer. Everyone must have the printer drivers installed. The Pc that has a direct connection to the printer must also Share the printer on the network. Open Printer & Faxes, highlight the printer you want to share. Click File than click Sharing follow windows instructions.
Small suggestion regards to the wireless side of the network. Suggest you setup security so others close too you can not tap into your network. (common).
