SOURCE: blank screen MOBILE PHONE

Hi there,

Basically it sounds to me that the main FPCB is faulty.

How old is your handset?

Samsung handsets now have a 2 years manufacturers warranty (from the point of manufactur not sale)

All you need to do is take it to your nearest Carphone Warehouse and they can send it away for repair for FREE., Alternativly go to one of there Express Repair Centers and it may be done in a few hours. [carphonewarehouse.com/repairs/]

G1: Well I cut my phone and the G1 logo appeared then ...

YOU MAY NEED A NEW "FLEX CABLE" OR LCD..THE FLEX CABLE HOLDS THE LCD TO THE BOARD AND ESPECIALLY WITH SLIDE PHONES LIKE THE G1 THEY SOMETIMES COME LOOSE OR GO BAD OVERTIME FROM SLIDING THE PHONE UP AND DOWN TO ACCESS KEYBOARD. CHECK YOUR AREA FOR A TECH.
