Question about Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit External External Sound System

Creative sound blaster live 24 bit soundcard external usb

Having 2-10 second delays in 'speech' to me. Loud & clear to jarbled and skipping conversations on Paltalk. Want to use this card for singing on-line karaoke, but cannot hear myself as I record. Also complete system slows down or freezes up. I have replaced this with another internal card with no luck, deleted Paltalk and reloaded, downloaded new drivers for this new card, downloaded a program to give the soundcard more control, but nothing seems to work. The larger control panel it had is now without most of its options. The PC is 6 years old, windows XP. Need help please.

Explanaition:
This delay you are experiencing is called latency. All equipment or signal processing unit introduces some latency even if extremely low.
Computer tends to be a lot worse than outboard gear.

Solution:
Look for Asio4All, this little driver will help you improve your audio input latency. And remember, the smaller the buffer size the lower latency you get.

I'm having a bit of a problem with my RSQ NK-2000U. The voice is lagging when singing. In other words, I say something like, "Testing" and I hear it about half a second to a second afterwards. ...

The Karoke is usually se with a reverb that could make it sound that way. Check the vocal settings in the machine for correcting that and time delay setting.

How to calm down stamerring

Sometimes our brains go faster than our mouths and, more often than not, we end up messing up what we're going to say. Usually, if you're super anxious and are a little iffy about talking to others, a deep breath and a slowed down tempo to your words is key.
One of the breathing technique says that you should relax and breathe normal and you should say only the first syllable while exhaling and then breathing again and deliver the rest. It sounds hard, but it's easy once you get the hang of it.
You need to be able to tell yourself to physically relax and remember to breathe. It sounds silly reminding yourself to breathe, but without enough breath, you're not going to say your sentence like how you want to.
Practice speaking. Try breathing exercises/meditating. Read books out loud. Have longer conversations with people. (the last one may make you a little nervous but a small "hello" will help your confidence, heaps!)
Try some rhythm in your speech, perhaps? Like you know how some singers that stutter, immediately lose their stutter when they sing? If you're not into singing too much, try speaking on pitch or giving your words an oratory quality. (like martin luther king, barack obama for instance.)
Pause when talking as much as you need to.
Here's a little video on how to control your stuttering if you want:

Magic Sing ET-18k output delay

The delay is introduced by your high end HDTV. To alleviate this problem, connect the music part carried by the red and white wires a separate analog sound system.

2-second delay with Magic Sing

i bought et18k. just the same as yours.its 2 days old and has the same problem. the technical assistant says that its because of the digital setting that new tvs have. there are two ways to solve this though:

1. connect the video (yellow plug) to the tv. and the other two plugs (yellow and white) to the stereo. when i say stereo, its not the dvd home theater system that you have but a separate one. if you connect it to the home theater that you have, it'll just sound the same, you still have the delay.

2. connect the magic sing to the older tvs hangin out. and you'll get no problem at all.

**TVs such as sony, samsung, philips, sharp and all plasma tvs including other newly designed tvs will have the delay since they all share the HDMI thingy that causes sh*t.
