Question about Televison & Video

Digistar 20"tv my tv has locked me out,nothing works,has blue sceen and a red lock in left corner. I have the same problem, I tried connecting and disconnecting it and leaving it off for a week. I tried switching cable and power outlets. If I still had my manual I would call the manufacturer.

Hi there. I had the same problem, as of a few minutes ago. I researched it online, you may have done the same and found the answer already, but here it is anyway: hold down on the display button for a few seconds. It only took me 2 or 3, but other sites recommend 5. It worked for me! I hope it has the same effect for you! I don't know how mine even locked...?

I'm having the same problem. My screen is blue with a red lock in the bottom left hand corner. None of the buttons work except the on/off button on the television.

Blue screen with red key in bottom left hand corner


The Tv's Child Lock has been activated...
Hold down the F button and press the MUTE button to unlock.
You can only remove the child lock using the remote.

Sorry but you're going to have to be a bit more specific than that.. What kind of Tv is it, what model number, is it the original remote, do you have an otherwise good pic and sound, do functions (vol, ch, power) on the Tv work???
