Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

No Sound After a december crash, leaving me with only the ''blue-screen-of-death'', a struggle finally got it running again (tho all's lost). After starting 'afresh', I find now I have no sound (I think it had sound when I received it April 2008) My Dell's an Intel Celeron, 1.6GHhz Bench- topper with a 200+ Gb hard. How can I check for audio? I tried connecting to all the backplate connectors while a you-tube piece operated, but with nada. The search into the Audio part of Control Panel left me confused. (Jargon level low)
