Replace frother on krups xp562

Exploded view does not show me how it's held on but if it helps part number is MS 623752 No screws show in the diagram so you may need to remove the metal chassis complete from inside the plastic housings to operate clips holding it together. There are at least 7 parts showing in the nozzle kit.

The unit likely has an electrical fault, my guess would be element not heating. Parts are available for them.

The frother nozzle makes a bad screeching noise. What am I doing wrong?

I don't think there is a lot you can be doing wrong to cause that apart from maybe something not too well cleaned and creating a restriction for the steam.

Is it important to use the rubber on the nozzles on frothing milk for cappuccini?

It is not important at all, you have found the easy way, the nozzle is for dummies that cannot figure it out.

Pump may be broke

Remove the frother nozzle: if its the early type with three hooks, slide the frother body down before trying to remove it. Disassemble the frother and clean the three holes in the end. If the holes are blocked, the steam can't escape. If it's not pushing hot water through the coffee holder, pull out the water reservoir, and remove and clean the grid plate assembly where the coffee holder clips in.

My Krups XP4050 frother heats and makes bubbles but no froth

It doesn't froth because the air hole in the frother has become plugged with dried milk (cream). There are two types of frother - old one was a black rubber nipple with a stainless 2-3inch air tube rising above the milk. The plastic insert has a pin hole (really about the size of a straight pin!) that clogs. Use a sewing needle or straight pin to clear it.

How to use krups espresso machine

The metal nozzle under the rubber frother is plugged up. You can remove it with a wrench (it is threaded). I now wash mine after every use since mine plugged so badly I had to use wire to unplug it. Milk does that.
