Question about Technics SL-MC4 61-Disc CD Changer
This is a very sentimental disc player that I inherited from my younger brother in 2010 after he was killed in an oil field accident and means a very much to me sentimentally. I have unloaded all of the discs and tried one at a time. I have unplugged it and gave it time to try to boot or what ever CD jukeboxes need to do to restart. The message on the screen constantly states over and over Quick Change System Mega Changer over and over. Please help if anyone can it will be greatly be appreciated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Thats alot of disc this ubit holds. 110+1!! The CD changer arm mechanism sounds like is out of timming or the gears have slipped there teeth, and or the cam is broken, or theres a couple of small microswitches that can get broken as well.. The only way to work on this unit and see what the problem is, is to get a service manual and go through the mechanical alighnment and see where the problem is. Unless you can do a physical examination and know where every lob and gear is suppose to be, I do not see any other ways.
