Question about Arris DCT6200 DTV Receiver
A Magnavox DTV TB110MWG was hooked up through an amplified antenna and the DTV burned up. Was the DTV defective or is this hookup not possible?
If the input of the tb110mwg was "overdriven" like though an external amplifier; then it IS possible to burn up the receiver.
More than likely you just bought a bad unit. Then again, I would not try to amplify the input signal to the Magnavox unit. This is just not a good idea.
