I have the same problem. My 8.5 messanger was working fine .. then I loaded the 2009 upgrade. I installed the program , ran it signed in and I haven't been able to log on and I get the same stupid "Service not avialable" notice. I hope its not a virus. I spent two days trying to figure out Why I keep geting the 80040154 error and it won't let me log on.

Microsoft....is this a big bug in the program?

Redownloading the software can help. If the problem persists it could be to do with your internet. Check your router settings and maybe assign windows live messenger a port and allow access through it.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Error connection with Windows Live Messenger

After failing to connect to Windows Live Messenger, Below error message appears on your screen :

"The connection to Windows Live Messenger failed - The service is unavailable - Please retry later - Error Code 810003c1"

This problem is usually related to registration information for Messenger account, specifically the country of assignment.

It is probable that the connection established for an account, but may not work with another account.
How to proceed
Exit to Windows Live Messenger

Go to Windows Live Hotmail website.

Go to Identifying Windows Live ID and Password.

Click on Windows Live and select “Account”

In the page “Account Summary”, click on ("Edit your registered information").

Under Home, select your country of residence.

Then save the modification by clicking on “Register” and close Hotmail.

You can now try to connect to Windows Live Messenger.
