My manual was in Swiss language i speak english. what should i do?

Are the tabs at the top of the screen in English or French? According to the manual, you should be able to change the language from the Set tab. If these are in French, that will be the second tab from the right. Touch the More (Plus) button, on the left above the Fabric information, to scroll through the Set menu screens. You need the line for Language (Langue, which is on the second screen, just above the More and OK buttons. Press the Next button to the right of this line to scroll through the available languages. Press the OK button (on the right next to the More button) to save the selection.

(I'm not completely certain of the French that will be on each line. The Language line might read as la langue. Set could be parametres or reglage.)

Your Sewing Machine has a firmware. So, if you can't see in settings how to change the languege, simply, they reinstalled a new firmware, without the opton for English. Sounds really weird!

On the touch screen touch "English" until your language choice is indicated. The language setting remains until it is changed. Refer to manual page 21 which can be downloaded free from this link: http://manuals.husqvarnaviking.com/

Go to the internet, type find manual for Singer Quantum XL-1000, you should get a lot of links of which you can download.

Hold in the "A" button and the up arrow button at the same time and turn the machine on, you can then scroll through the different languages the machine can display using the "A" and "B" buttons.

Follow these steps:-

Turn machine off.

Press button 1 and hold in whilst turning on the machine.

The four languages will appear. Select the number coresponding to the language you require.English should be #1.

Not all Pfaffs have English loaded into the computer, but if it was there before, should be no drama.
