Question about Intel Motherboard

1 Answer

Unsupported Signal. Adjust your PC output

I also have the same problem. I am using a Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family Display adapter and i am trying to connect to Sony Bravia LCD TV via the VGA (Blue color) port from my laptop. This used to work fine before. I have not reinstalled drivers/OS. I have not changed any settings but all of a sudden it has stopped working. Any help will be really appreciated

Boot into safe mode or VGA mode and reduce the resolution to 800 by 600 and set the refresh rate to 60. After this, reboot normally and check the box to have your video to display only the settings that work for your system, and choose the desired resolution, and refresh should be 70-85 to reduce flicker. Appears as tho your video card is set too hot for the monitor.
MORE: In safe mode or vga mode you may not be able to adjust the settings. Fine. After a reboot, you may be able to start normally and the vga settings might still be there (640x480). Then you can adjust them.

Never realized you had a laptop. Do you know how to toggle your display?

Also be sure to give the video the max ram in BIOS.

Your displays may be fussy as to what feeds they will decipher.

Get it working on a standard monitor first.

No display

Hello here are the intel homepage:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+945+Express+Chipset+Family+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+D945GCNL

When no display, the fault is useualy the power supply failing, or the power wires is connected wrong.

You can also try to add a graphic card, in the PCI-E graphic socket, instead using the onboard graphic.

Good luck

I have Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family

Mmmm, doesn't sound good. If it's dropping the driver then works intermittently, there's 3 possibilities. One go to the intel site & download the latest driver for that chipset or check the hard drive with a program like tuff test pro(commercial diagnostic tool, google it),if all checks out the board has an issue. I think you get where this is going from there.
