I have a model 113248322 bandsaw . when I turn it on the blade derails and the rubber on the top wheel comes out of the groove at least half it's width. It seems to still have elasticity and fits well in the wheel goooves. it will derail in 3 seconds

Uncle Vic says " If you want your 16" --3 wheel Delta saw { Cat # 28-560} to work, you must have patience.
It's old and has a bad reputation. They don't make it any more, and haven't in many years. The 2 wheel saws are better, but you don't have one; right?
If you want production from this saw, forget it. It must be coddled. If you haven't patience, just sell it quick and buy a better one.
I'm old and the saw and I can produce some good work if you are patient with us.
Here's what I did. I replaced the rubber drive-wheel covers- Lubricated all bearings-installed new blade guide blocks and CAREFULLY adjusted everything to it's centered position.
You cannot " Horse" this saw. If you are careful, you can get it to cut whatever you have the proper blades for. The cut radius is limited to the blade installed. Good luck

SOURCE: blade keeps derailing

I am not sure why you took the guides off in the first place,   That is definitely related to the problem but is it possible that taking those guides off created a deeper problem?

SOURCE: d28770 dewalt bandsaw derails blade

Over-tensioning the blade can and does cause the blade to "crawl" off.

Roper snowblower drive chain keeps coming off

sounds like you have either stretched chains or worn sprockets. Also check the outer bearing that the shafts fit into for wear. If they wear then the chain can't retain it's tension properly, get sloppy and then derail itself. Most likely your bearings is the problem.

Blade walks off the drive wheels

If the blade is walking off the wheels, the wheels are out of alignment with each other. This can be caused by loose screws that hold wheels on their pulley shaft, a worn or lose pulley shaft, worn or broken bearings, ect. Anything that holds or supports the wheels can be lose or worn to the point the wheels are out of alignment which affects the tracking of the blade.

Chain ****

Scott, this sounds like maybe the derailler is not taking up the slack in the chain. You might not be threading the chain through the derailer correctly, or the spring in the derailer is not working. Maybe if you could post a picture of the folded chain and a picture of how the chain is threaded through the derailer I could help you further

D28770 dewalt does not turn the blade. Light works and switch works but not even a hum from the motor.

Check the brushes, if they are worn down to where they are not making good contact with the armature, the motor won't work.
If the brushes are OK you may have to have the armature tested to make sure it doesn't have a short in it.

Both of my derailers seem to be frozen. I have already tried spraying them with a lubricant & nothing. It is no longer under warranty & am looking to fix it my self before taking it to a shop.

first disconect cable from derailer and determin if its the derailer or the cable. if its the cable take it off coil it up put it in a can with wd40 or other penatrating oil . if its the derailer take the chain off and work it free by hand keep putting oil on it while you work it back and forth

My daughters mt sport sx roadmaster bike keeps changing gears and making a clicking sound. What causes this?

phililisa03-

This problem is caused by improperly adjusted derailers/shifters, the mechanism that move the chain from one gear to the next. It is not uncommon for the derailers to be out of adjustment after sitting unused through the winter. Over time the cables that run between the shifters and the derailers stretch just a bit and the derailers no longer work as well without a little tuning up. Unfortunately, for the novice, adjusting the derailers is frustrating at best. The effort and patience it requires is nothing to take lightly. If you're game for giving it a try, there are a number of websites out there that will provide extensive guidance on the process - just "google" how to adjust bike derailers" and you will find plenty of options. My local bike shop will make adjustments like this for a small set price, around $20 or so - you may have a shop nearby that will do the same.

Hope this helps.
