I have had my Ellure for about 3 weeks. I have been in love with it until now! I am trying to embroider and the bobbin keeps getting tangled underneath the cover. The Needle isn't picking up the bobbin thread. hope that makes sense!! Please Help!

Re: Not picking up bobbin
Have you looked at
your manual or bought the more expensive machine book from your dealer? I wasn't happy at the addtional cost at the time (I spent $2200 US that day) BUT I have
found my book for my Evolve a VERY good investment (70 bucks, but worth
every penny these past 2 years!) You may find the same for your Ellure.
Baby Lock have very good cust.
service either on the web or right at your dealer. Most dealers will
give free lessons upon your request. I hope this helped, PS I'm a bit jealous.... I REALLY wanted that machine too! Happy Sewing and Good luck with your baby!

You have your bobbin inserted into the machine spinning in the wrong direction. take the bobbin out and flip it over and wind around needle plate guide and cut. Look at the little pictogram on the plastic part of the machines throat plate. It shows which direction the thread should spin off the spool when you drop the top loading bobbin into the bobbin case.
the problem of your machine is, under the plate of your machine, you saw the teeth look like the used of it is to move forward the cloth u embroiderd, you should tight the bolt or nuts so that, the bunching up of thread on the plate will stop. thank you!!!!!
This is sometimes caused by the upper thread not threaded correctly. You need to thread it first with the pressure foot in the up position. You need to "floss" the thread into the clear plastic guide as this is where the tension is. The tension should be set to E for embroidering. Also make sure you get the bobbin thread in the slot on the bobbin case. Also, lower your pressure foot before you begin embroidering. Hope this helps!
I have the same machine and love it. Sometimes if the thread is old that will happen to me. And also I spray the thread with static guard before i thread the machine in dry cold weather. Since you said you are an embroiderer I assume you are using the same weight thread top and bottom. The other thing that causes that on my machine is if there is a nick on the spool of thread I am using and the thread catches just a little as it comes off the spool. I use a fine nail file and smooth off the edge where the little v is to reattach the thread when you are finish using it. I never use them. You do sew a little and cut off the tail off the top thread before you let it go through the rest of design. I hope you have found the solution but I learned these tricks while having the same problem as you.
Your needle is Bent/blunt, you need to change it and then be sure to put your the needle in as hight up in there as it will go, and tighten that as tight as you can! make sure you bobbin area has no lint in that area! keep it dust free!

I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES AND WHEN I WOULD CHECK THREAD IT WOULD BE OK, MOST OF THE TIME HOWEVER, IF I COMPLETELY UNTHREAD IT AND RETHREAD IT THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED. I HATE IT WHEN THEY DO THIS MUST BE A PROBLEM WITH ALL OF THEM
I asked MY tech yesterday after driving 8 hours to aone about the manual, I was told the techs do not want ANYONE into the machines because of the computer inside. I to need a service manual to fix a cutter problem. Why in the world do we continue to purchase macihnes that are unserviceable by us, the owner? because we love to embroider :) if anyone finds a manual for the ellure please let us all know :)
