Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: Rewind runs but film still seems stuck & won't rewind-Max 3xi

It could be that there is a broken or missing gear in the rewind. It will spin but not catch. Sometimes when film is loaded it, is not drawing the film across and missing a gear, so it seems like your taking photos and its not. If you sent it to minolta, good luck, they were bought out by Konica, and probably didnt' do a thorough analysis of it.

I have a friend who fixes cameras. Cleans them, lubricates them, and callibrates them,

Hope this helps you

Film rewind button at the bottom of the camera stuck on the "in" position. Cannot get it to release.

Put the camera in a change bag open it then manually rewind the film. From there you may be able to free the button. If the button continues to be stuck here is something worth trying that I have seen others do with stuck buttons and aperture blades. To the button add a few drops of lighter fluid let it soak in. Sounds crazy yes, however sometimes that will dissolve gunk buildup freeing the button. That trick works wonders on stuck aperture blades; actually a common practice at repair shops.

Iana mini rewind crank not spinning when advancing film

If the film is advancing you do not have a problem. It may be that the rewind button does not actually spin when you advance the film, because if it did and you have something caught on it when you are trying to do so you could really mess things up. Really, the rewind crank may only visibly spin in one direction.

Rewind button stuck

Is there film in the camera? If it is then in a dark closet or change bag open the camera remove the film then manually rewind the film into its cartridge. Once the film is in the cartridge now you can look at the inside of the camera in the light, you should be able to get the rewind to work.

Film rewind button stuck

Try cocking the shutter with the camera back open, if that does not pop up the rewind button the camera may need service and lubrication.

The rewind button on my diana camera is stuck OUT - as well as that I can't rewind my film as the rewind lever is stuck - can you please help?

Take your camera to photo developer who has the dark room. They will open your camera in dark room and remove the film without any damage to it. Once film is out you can see whats actually the problem, it can be gear tooth misaligned or something.

My film advance lever is stuck. pushed button under camera didn't work

You may have hit the end of the film. Rewind the film back to the spool until the very end gets back in the shell.
If you think you still have unexposed film do the following. Rewind about 1-2 full rotations. Cover the lens using the cap. We're doing this so that step 2.3 will not spoil your last pictures. Take 2 shots (with the lens cover). This time the button at the button should have popped out.

Rewind button is stuck

It can definitely be fixed but let's try one thing before forking over few bucks to technician. Assuming it is a SLR camera, When you rewind, hold the rewind knob pushed in and try it. If you have a point and shoot, let me know which model. I'll be ready to assist when you respond either way.-James

I have a canon rebel II camera and when i put my film in it rewinds it instead.

Sounds like it's stuck in rewind mode....remove the lens then turn the command dial to ISO then press both buttons on the top back simultaneously. This is a manual rewind to reset the counter. Now you should be able to reload film.

Film advance lever and shutter release button are "stuck"

No, it is not the battery. My guess is that the film leader did not stay in the take-up spool and is now bunched up around it. Try rewinding the film carefully as you normally would but remember that you are only rewinding a small portion of the length. You can even just open the film door and start over. You will only loose 3 or 4 frames on the roll.
