How to get rid of the buzzing sound when talking over the mic tried changing usb ports etc still no joy any tips would be great full they are a brand new pair for ur info

My built in mic in my headphones doesn't work for this pc and theirs a fuzzy noise that happens when their is no background sounds


Make sure the headphone mic is plugged in and detected in the sound setup.

The buzzing noise is usually cause by the USB power connector, try a different port.

Get yourself anti-static spray and spray over the connector before inserting into the jack, most times its dust or static buildup which causes that buzzing sound and in other times replace your mic

Mic isnt picking up voice


IF U ARE USING ANY SOFTWARE TRY CHANGING OR USING DIFFERENT SOFTWARE.ALSO CHECK UR MIC AND CONNECTIONS IS IT WORKING CORRECTLY OR NOT.

Buzzing/humming sound when mic is inserted while on AC power


if its not usb mic you will have the humming
if it is a usb mic the port that you connected to needs a mic to be further away from comp your picking up a static charge from comp to mic

try muting the mic under windows sound properties then unmuting it , or uncheck the 20% mic boost, also you can try reinstalling your sound drivers, they may have gotten corrupted

I would think that your mic part is shot or you need to adjust the volume of your mic. Go to Start---->Control Panel---->Sounds And Devices---->Volume----->Advanced now adjust your input mic levels a little lower.

MS VX-6000 webcam Mic / Video problems


When i try to talk to talk to anyone on msn with the VX6000 webcam they cannot hear me for screeches, echos and distorted voice, i have tried everything on support site and got nowhere. When i test in voice playback it does the same. Any help appreciated!
