2006 Suburban, rear windshield wiper not working, can hear motor/pump trying to work but no movement.

How To Install Replace Rear Window Wiper Motor 2000 06 Chevy Suburban Tahoe

Hard to say what's wrong without testing thing's . Is there B+ voltage to the wiper switch ? B + voltage to the wiper motor ? Do you know how to use a voltmeter ? How to test electrical circuits ?

the inside of the wiper could be stripped out and have no tension to move the wiper try pulling it off and changing it if not need to see how to take it of and maybe the motor could have stripped the gears inside itself.

It can be faulty wiper motor or blown wiper control fuse.

Do you hear any kind of noise when you starter the wiper function. If yes then fuse is ok, but issue is wiper motor.

If no movement at all and no noise then its blown fuse or shorted/loose wiper control wiring: -----

It sounds like the wiper motor has a bad gear. Replace the motor and it should solve your problem.

Rear washer may have it's own reservoir . Can you hear a pump humming when you activate the washer? Look in the under flooor compartment

Try tightening the bolt that holds the wiper in place. There is a cap over it at the base of the wiper where it attaches to the window pop that cap and you will see the it.
