Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Please elaborate, your statement is very vague

But in the meantime verify that you are installing logged as administrator, that you have the latest software version and update, and also the Borland Database Engine (BDE) that sometimes causes trouble, install, restart and check if the icon appears on your desktop

Handycafe server back to default after close

Usually such "resets" are either due to an option in Windows or the program itself; they are used to "maintain programs' default settings." The other possibility is that you have some kind of "freeze" snapshot of your hard drive taken by an overwrite program some time ago.

I have a Samsung NP-RF511 S04AU That won't start past the startup screen. I don't want to lose what is on my C drive can someone please help. I am running Window 7

Several things you can try.
Roll back system with System Restore. Under Safe Mode (press F8 during boot and choose Safe Mode). Win 7 - Start > Search type System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates. Uninstall last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode.

In Safe Mode try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate.

No date option means the drive is not being monitored for restore. Right click My Computer > Properties and enable.

What are the steps for System restore in windows 7.

System Restoring Windows 7

1. Open the Start Menu.

A) Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore.

2. Open the Control Panel (All Items View).

A) Click on the Recovery icon.
B) Click on the Open System Restore button.

A 'System Restore' window will appear. Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time'

A) Click on the Next button

Now you will find a window with Dates, Description and Type,

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start. Click on the Finish button and windows will take a reboot.

Windows 7 won't bootup, has error recovery. it loads files then nothing. screen is black.

Had that problem a few times myself.
Only way I could fix was to restore back to factory condition.
As you boot, watch bottom of screen closely.
depending on system, Should need to press F2, F10, possibly F12, might even be Del.
Most likely you didn't get restore disk, or have made one.
If you do, insert disk before boot up. System should boot to DvD.
Don't forget once restored to update.
Hope this helps
Don
