Question about Toshiba SD-K741 DVD Player
Recently we tried to play an exercise disc that we have successfully played several times before; when we insert the DVD it will not play. The player displays shows "bad" and the tv shows "incorrect disc" We have tried 3 other discs all with the same result. Any idea on what the problem could be? I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting the the power with no luck. Thank you for your help. Mike
Sounds like the player has a dvd mech/picup problem, will probably require a repair that is more expensive than a new player, they are as low as $30 and personally I dont even try to repair my own, I just go buy a new one. There may have been some dirt on the disc that is blocking the laser if you want to try a cleaning disc I doubt it would hurt it anymore.
