Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a 204b moniter that the lower half of the screen faded to black then shows two half screens that are filled with so many vert lines that you can't see whats on the screen.

the screen is toast. if its black and not showing whats suppose to be on the other half.if you tried restarting the computer and unplugging the monitor and it is still happening then there is nothing to do. monitors are not built to last long, the cheap ones. it is good to get one with a good warranty because the pixels go out.

Blackspot on screen

is it a tiny black dot? about one pixel? That is whats referred to as a dead pixel it happens on LCD nothing can be done of it but to replace the LCD screen. Usually you can just bare with it and wait til there are a few dead pixels before worrying about it.
Thanks,
Lee

Blank Screen..Will not power off

Have you checked your video source to ensure that this isn't a problem with your PC or whatever you're displaying on it? Try using a different display and see what happens. Try putting this LCD on a different PC and see what happens. If indeed it is this screen then it could be something as simple as a loose cable. Start simple and work from there.
