Need help with my bower M POWER conversion lens

The dark halo, is caused, by the size of the lens. The convertor lens, is smaller than the front lens of your Samsung and blocking the light on the sides.
That is the halo you see. If you want a conversion lens for your Samsung, you need a bigger one.

I have a bower lens no.05166 i need the lens model

Sorry, but it's likely that you can't trace it that way. 05166 probably just means it was the 5166th example of that particular model manufactured. Other Bower models might also have the same number. In any case, the data you need to consult is not available in the public domain.

I suggest that you contact Bower for advice directly.

Washed out pictures using a Bower 724 AFPX flash

This is probably not the camera settings. Pentax k200D wilt only give auto-flash with just three of their own units. Sounds like you have the Bower set on Auto. Set the flash to Manual, and adjust exposure on the aperture setting with the body set to manual as well.
Note that several people have reported problems with Bower units on digital cameras (and not just on Pentax)

Bower 724AFN

You should talk to the Bower tech support or to professional camera place that sells these flashes.

It is possible that the flash is defective, or there is a non compatibility issue.

You have to remember that these technologies use very sophisticated computerized design. It is very easy to have compatibility issues especially when matching devices from one manufacture to the other. There are some industry standards, but it is impossible to have perfection with all the possible protocols between different types of equipment.

Personally, I stay with the same manufacture for all the options, unless the other devices I choose are known to be compatible.

Nikon D80 using Bower AF 724AFN

I also purchased a Bower 724AFN to use with my D80, and experience the same problems. Received confirmation from Nikon that this flash unit is not compatible with the camera. I then purchased an SB-600 flash, and haven't looked back. It's worth the extra money for this high quality unit; fully compatible, and compliments the TTL features of the D80. I'll never deviate from original Nikon accessories again.
