Problem for Danby DMW1153 1100 Watts Microwave Oven
Replacing light bulb in Microwave Oven.

I have a Danby Microwave oven, model DMW 1153 BL. I don't want to call a Tech just to replace the light bulb. Is it safe to replace it myself. Also do you know the location of the bulb. Thank you.

- Thanks "typboy". I actually found the location of the bulb last night. Metal cabinet has to be removed and the bulb is in view. Thanks for your help.Best Solution

if this is a counter top modle this is no problum, unplug it!!!
open door look for the light hole vents, ( that is where the bulb is )
you will need to unscrew the outer casing. noproblum there is nothing but reguler insalation in side and a area where the bulb is. replase it you can buy them at any hardware store,
if is a under cabinet there my be a axes door if not will need to take down,
hope this helps.
p.s. 1st time i that there was all kinds of things in side but not
