How to replace brushes

I could not find instructions or video on your model, but on your model the brushes are under the plastic cover opposite from the blade.
if the cover is removed you should be able to see how to replace them.

Loaned a Skil 5150 to a friend and when he returned it, the saw seems to run slow and the brushes produce lots of spark.

You will need to change the brushes for sure.Easy job at least. There are two types of brushes,The ones that can be fixed without taking the saw apart. The other brushes once you open the case and look at the front of the brush holders you will see some small holes.Take out the old brushes and push the new brush past the holes and push a piece of wire through the holes.Make sure the wire is long enough to go through a vent so you can pull it out when every thing on the body is buttoned up.

I use a piece of cardboard or Styrofoam to keep track of the bolts by just poking them in as I take them out,a magnet is good for the small stuff.

I replaced the brushes in my skilsaw and although it works fine, it has some sparks when i use, should i lubricate?

Depending on how old the saw is some spark when fresh brushes are installed is common. The brushes have to seat into the armature. If the sparking continues after a while the armature may be getting weak. There is nothing to lubricate that will cure a sparking issue with a power tool. Just keep using it, but keep an eye on the sparks, if they get worse, the armautre should be replaced.

Skilsaw is 2 months old. sounds like the bearings are shot already. has an odd klunking sound

even its just a 2 mos.old if your power tool was over used there is the tendency to sound like krunkling sound.,particularly when the unit you bought is just an imitation.
now,if the skilsaw you have now is let me say genuine, not overused and you are not comfortable with the sound you hear from it,then there is the posibility that it has a factory defect. Now,becoz it is already unto you,you can open and check the bearings, and also the "half moon" between the power gear and the axle/rod of the armature,it might be loosen. If your skilsaw is genuine and branded, you can buy it for areplacement of the said bearings & half moon.
you can check the brush too, becoz when it was over used the brushes are surely shortened and not equally grined..and if that so,an uncomfortable sound or noise will hear from it.

What you are describing sounds like the power is being interrupted somewhere. In my experience, this is usually casued by a bad switch. Try replacing the trigger switch.
