SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: SONY DVD PLAYER DVP-SR200P BUT IT ONLY SHOW IN BLACK AND WHITE ?

You have posted this in the Panasonic DMR-ES30VS section.
Please note which product section you are in before posting your question.

For the Sony DVP-SR200P there could be multiple reasons for it only showing in B&W.
Was this a recent problem, is this a new hook-up, has it always been this way?

  1. In the setup menu there is a setting for Custom Picture Mode.
Could someone have turned the color down?
You can go to the setup menu and "Reset" the player to the factory settings.
  2. How is this connected to your TV?
Check all cables to make sure they are plugged in, test each one by unplugging it, and then plug it back in fully.

If you are using a composite cable (1 cable yellow plug), be sure you have plugged it in from yellow to yellow.

If you are using the component (3 cables red-green-blue plugs) hook-up, be sure you are using cables only designed for component hook-up, and have plugged them in correctly, red to red, green to green, blue to blue (Be sure you've plugged the red cable into the red video not red audio).

Are the cables in good condition?
No breaks, loose connectors, they weren't smashed under a piece of furniture?
Have you tried a different set of cables?
  3. Test the DVD player on another TV.
    Does the same thing happen?
Did you "Reset" the DVD player?
Maybe the DVD player is bad?
  4. Find another DVD player and test it with your TV.
Does it work OK, or is it black and white too?
Maybe the connectors on the TV are bad?
Is there a custom setting on the TV for that connection?
On some TVs you can adjust the settings for each input (INPUT 1, INPUT 2, ....) maybe the color setting is turned down?
There are may possibilities, but these are some of the basic things to check.
Best wishes,
-Greg-

Why do I get 'Video Signal is output from Video Jack shows up' message. The picture does not show but the sound does

Have you been using your DVD player with its video out on your TV for a long time? Did you often switch off your TV while the DVD was still connected? I had a similar problem and had to eventually take the DVD to Sony and they checked and said the mother board needs to be replaced. Thank fully mine was within guaranty so it was repaired for free :) So maybe you might want to take your DVD to the service centre. Best of luck

Our DVP-FX820 DVD player is 16 months old. You can hear the sound when it plays but can't see a picture.

Please try adjusting the backlight. If the issue persists, try resetting the player. To reset the Portable DVD Player, remove the battery of the DVD Player, then reconnect it after 1 minute and check if it helps. If the issue still persists, then the player requires service.

I need to reset a sony dvp-f21 to give standard

As far as I know, the output of your dvd is standard. If you're not getting a picture, check you have the correct audio and video leads into the correct plugs on both the dvd player and the scart adaptor, then make sure the scart is pushed fully home in the tv.
Also check that you have the correct input selected on your tv. This is done but pressing the button on your remote that has a square or circle with an arrow through it. Keep pressing it until you see your dvd.

Pictures taken from sony digital camera (6 Mega pixel) are not clearly seen on SONY DVP FX720. Is there any settings we need to do to get good quality?

change the format eg 640 x 480 to a higher resolution ...a good quality uses about 250kb per picture most jpegs use 50kb to save space
a really good picture can use 500kb.

Only black and white

If you are playing different region dvds, they can be of different color formats also
(US = NTSC, Europe = PAL). If your television is not multi-format then non-compatible
DVDs will play black and white. The solution is to purchase a mutli-format TV (accepts
both PAL and NTSC formats)
