One option is to set the cross over to the sub so it knows when to send the low frequency to the sub and not the front speakers. 120 is a good setting. This can be done either via a know on the sub woofer or the setup screen of the main unit.

yes this is a simple fix,change the tv channel up 1 or down 1

I had a similar problem with a Panasonic DVD/Blue Ray recorder. Unfortunately it seems that Panasonic are not making them very well these days and the drives fail very easily. As long as it under warranty you are OK, but afterwards Panasonic will charge you just to replace the drive more than what the device originally cost.
