SOURCE: HOW TO INSTALL THE OEM Motorola RAZR V3 Keypad LCD Flex Cable

1), remove the bottom part (completelly)
a) do you know how to open the bottom part?

2) remove the cover on the top part
a) disconnect the keypad LCD Flex Cable

3) remove the two chrome "big screws" that allows it to open and close

4) CAREFULL!!!! WHEN YOU READY TO SEPARATE THE TOP PART FORM THE BOTTOM!!
a) make sure the Flex cable is loose, and take a screw driver, push the ping on the other side (try to do this at the edge of a desk or table) keep pressure until this side pops out. KEEP IN EYE ON THE OTHER SIDE!! that the Flex cable does not get cut out by separating the two sides.

5) Replace and pop the two sides together.

6) Put everything back together.

Good luck!
let me know if I need to be more specific

A green vertical line appeared on my screen

generally, the issue occurs because of the "heat pressed" flex ribbon cables to the glass panel that's etched with carbon.
the cable/connections fail due to expansion from heat and cold and/or contamination and/or insufficient silicone adhesive and/or incorrect placement and alignment.

Motorola milestone problems.

Trade for another brand. Motorola knows about this problem and many more but will not relase a fix for the united states service providers. You are lucky you can use it as a phone as we purchased 5 within our family and all of them as well and everyone else we know that bought this phone, has the same problems. The reboot is bad enough but the Crystal Talk feature is faulty so other people cant hear you talk, and most times, you cant hear the caller either. Motorola has the gall to release a Milestone 2 without fixing the issues with the Milestone 2.1 verson. Everyone I know who purchased the Milestone will never buy another Motorola again because they dont stand behind their product. No wonder they are in finacial trouble!

My screen will go normal then go back to white screen then to black screen

check first to make sure that all flex sockets are firm and if problem continues, change your flex cable. flex cable is that fibre that joins the upper part to the lower part.

Flex cable

It's fairly simple to replace a flex cable if that's the culprit. This is a flex cable: http://cnn.cn/shop/motorola-razr-keyboard-flex-cable-p-300.html It's got adhesive on it so if you plan on repairing yours, you need to peal your old one off. That's really no big deal, the thing you REALLY need to worry about is damaging your keypad when removing it from your housing. You might want to order a new one just incase for that very reason. Be aware that unlike the V3c's flex cable which is a separate cable that connects to the main board to go up to the upper part of the phone, the V3's keyboard flex has its cable attached, which means you must open the top portion of your phone as well. Opening the bottom part of the phone is simple. Opening the top part is where things get slightly tricky, if you're not careful you could really damage your phone.
