Hi,

Please check for any paper jam inside the machine, Phone off hook message is becoz if you use the same phone line for fax and telephone, thats normal. Follow the steps below,,

1) unplug the power cord at the both ends from the printer and wall outlet. connect to wall out let directly dont connect to printer.
2)Press and hold # and 6 while reconnecting the power cord to the product hold for 1 min after plugging the power cord, and then release both buttons, this should resolve the issue.

My 4680 HP All in One Printer says there is a paper jam and one does not exist. How do I get it to stop so it will print. Prior to this it was not feeding and making a racheting sound

This error message is displayed by the printer when paper is jammed in one or more locations. In such a case, users are recommended to remove the jammed paper from the specified location. The entire paper path must be checked for any pieces of paper. To stop the message, open and close the top most cover of the printer. Lastly, verify the flags and the sensors. If the problem persists, the cause of the error message could be a broken sensor or sensor lever.

Am a service person i hav an office jet 5610 printer it always giving paper jam error what is reson for that

Hi,

very often you get paper clips or staples that block paper path and therefore causes paper jam. also, some paper path sensors gets damaged and the debris can cause paperjam. I suggest you open all levers and check for foreign matters. You can even put the printer upside down so that the foreign thing gets out. The next step is to dsmantle everything and remove the fault.

I have a HP Office jet 7310 all-in-one. Printing stopped and an error message that says remove and check cartridge on right. I did, but the error message won't go away. What can I do?

Cold reboot. Disconnect all wires and cables after shutting down as much as possible, leave disconnected from power and computer for 3 minutes then follow OEM instructions for hook-up and restart

HP office jet 4215 all-in-one printer. Getting a cartridge error

Are you sure you installed the ink cartridges correctly? They should snap in and then you should be able to do a Printer Test/Align cartridges function.
Which error message is it putting out?
