NR means "not registered". The easiest thing to do is go to the web management for the phone(get the ip address off the screen when it boots) and find what is missing in your sip credentials.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

1120e phones keep rebooting

The phone's configuration is likely corrupt and it will need to be reset to factory defaults and reprogrammed.

To stop the reboot cycle, try this:

- Connect the phone to POE (Power Over Ethernet) injector, but do not plug in a data cable into the injector.

- When the message "Cable Unplugged" appears on the screen, connect a data cable to the POE injector.

The phone should return to an online state.

Cisco 7945G keeps rebooting after factory reset

If you used the traditional keypress sequence where you hold down the * key, reboot the phone, and then press the keys in sequence, you may be stuck in a boot loop. You might need to connect your phone to a network if your phone is trying to reach a TFTP server to fetch a firmware or config file update. If you need a power supply, you might try CiscoPowerCube.com they sell a cross compatible version of the CP-PWR-CUBE3 which includes the cord.

Polycom 501 phone keeps trying to reboot itself. We rebooted manually a few times and get the same error message: 'Could not find boot server current configuation" Any ideas?

try to turn off the Polycom device. When you turn it back on, press Setup. from the options, select server then click edit. Then select the item Trivial FTP (that setup depends on your ISP), and type the IP address assigned to your network (example 192.168.90.90) then hit OK. click exit several times then press Save & reboot. If it did not work, let us know...

My snom 300 phone rebooted but displays NR

Go to vlan settings, then pick reset . The phone would restart itself and that should do the trick.

I am unable to push the configuration files into polycom soundpoint ip 330 through tftpd

This means the phone's SIP application has been erased. You will need to download the SIP app and BootROM from the Polycom support page, host the files on a boot server, and then point the phone to this server from the server menu so the phone will reboot and download the files.

Roll back phone software

The phone is in a continuous because it is trying to connect to the NBX. You need to make sure it is on the same network as the NBX. Also, within the NBX you need to make sure Auto-Discovery is enabled. You also need to check how many group 2 licenses you have, as this phone requires one to run on the NBX.
