Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
I cant seem to locate the heating element on my frigidaire dryer, please tell me where to find it, so it can be changed.
The heating element is in the back of the dryer.there should be a cover you can remove so you can see it or you may have to take the top off the dryer to get to it. either way it is the back of the machine

If you dryer lint screen is located at the top of your dryer your heating element is going to located at the rear of your dryer. You will need to remove the back of the dryer to get to it. You will see a housing and the element is located in there. If you lint screen is located in the door when you open the door then your heating element is located in the front. This one is easier to get to. Simply remove the bottom panel under the door and you will see the heating element right at the front on the right hand side. Make sure you unplug the dryer before working on it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and also please let me know if this was helpful for you. Good luck and glad to help.
