Question about Tricity Bendix AW1000W Front Load Washer
I have a Tricity Bendix 'Advanced Eco Shower System' 1400 rpm washing machine.
I stupidly washed a large fluffy cloth in it, not realising that it would shed loads of fibres. Next time I used the machine, they got stuck all over the clothes, but washed them OK, until it came to the end of the cycle and a buzzer kept beeping, and I had to re-set it to spin. The water empties OK, but with fluffy bits still coming out in it (looks rather like the consistency of tissue, but is cotton lint).
I assume there is a blockage somewhere, but as the clothes come out spun (eventually), and the water is still coming out of the waste tube, I don't know where the blockage is.
I used the machine again today and although it works, it doesn't do the whole cycle - I wash (then the buzzer goes when it's finished) so I have to re-set it to rinse (buzzer goes again), then to spin.
There is a little door at the bottom of the machine (bottom right) but I don't know what I'm supposed to do, if that's what needs emptying. Any advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
Behind the little door is the filter which will be full of this stuff.
Just unscrew and take it out to clean.
Thankyou for using Fixya.
