I've seen this one a lot when i worked as a repair man for toshiba, unfortunatley even the smallest piece of paper or a clump of dust in front of a sensor will cause a "missfeed error", if you havent already; try removing some of the basic parts on the inside and spray everything with a compressed air can like you'd use to clean the key boards, then reset the copier and hopefully that will take care of you're problem.

There may be a piece of paper or a sensor is stuck,
1st remove trays and open all doors
2nd locate each sensor and see if it stuck or has something blocking it

misfed document error on screen - f9f8f36.jpgThe part that is up is the flag for the sensor , it tells the machine if there is a paper there, if it is late getting there, etc...

3 rd start with the trays, next to the wheels there should be two, one to tell it if the tray is full of paper and one to tell it it is coming out, you should be able to pull lightly on it and it should snap back into place (there is a spring inside that puts it back in place after the paper has passed)
4th look on the side where the paper should be going up
5th if you have a duplexer (2 sided option) look in there
ALL GREEN HANDLES ARE FOR USERS TO MOVE TO LOCATE PAPERS IN COPIERS
6th look in the exit where the paper comes out
some copiers ( possibly this one) you may have to physiccally remove it to see. ( wait until it cools off)

Good luck

Wat is an LSU error on a phaser 3200 MFP

Change the toner cartridge , i have many units phaser3200 and this is one of the problem , but only if the toner cartridge is very old and many time refilled , if not , change the Laser unit .

  1. Remove a misfed document if the copier displays a message reading "Document Jam." Lift up the document feeder cover and turn the roller to remove an Exit Misfed document. Lower the document feeder back into place and feed the document through again. If the document is jammed on the Input side, open the cover and gently pull the misfed document to the right and out of the feeder.
  2. Pull out the paper tray and lift the tray to release it from the copier if the copier displays a message reading "Paper Jam O." Remove the jammed document, and open and close the side panel of the copier to clear the error message.
  3. Unplug the power cord and plug it back in again if the copier displays a message reading "Fuser Error, Open Heat Error, Heating Error and Overheat." If the problem persists, call for a service.
  4. Remove the toner cartridge and shake it from side to side if the copier displays a message reading "No Developer Cartridge." If this does not do the trick, you may need to replace the cartridge. Pull the release latch to open the side cover, and open the front cover. Twist the cartridge locking-lever upwards and remove the toner cartridge. Insert the new cartridge and lock the lever into place. Shut the front cover and the side cover.
  5. Power off the unit and power it on again if the copier displays a message reading "LSU Error." A problem has occurred with the Laser Scanning Unit. If the problem persists, call for a service.

The feeder takes several sheets at a time. How do

Hi,

When ever you face such type of issue, the Scanner will display U-2 error with the Red led blinking and the TWAIN display will be "The multi feed is detected.(Code DS32006)".

To resolve the issue, please follow the steps provided below:

#Check if the documents satisfy paper specification? Please refer to the Operator’s Guide for paper specification, paying
attention to the following points:

• Is there any print within 10mm x 10 mm square in the center of documents on the top?
• Is multi feed error detected by paper length when scanning documents with different length?
• Is there perforation in the center of documents?

#Check ADF and clean pick roller, Pad ASY and around DF sensor with care.

#Replace Pick roller and Pad ASY and see if the error is removed. Check the consumable counter from the TWAIN driver screen. When the counter exceeds the permitted values, replace Pick roller or Pad ASY. If the error still occurs, confirm that the cable is correctly connected then replace the sensor.

Hope the above information will be helpful.

Please revert if you have further queries.

Thanks & regards,

TechSatya

Keep getting misfed paper message. can't see paper

Check the paper tray. The part at the end of the paper might not be keeping the paper pushed to the front of the tray. Remove the tray and check the rollers that feeds the paper. They might be slick. Clean them with some WD-40 sprayed on a rag.

Error code 6A00 what is it how do you fix it? this is what is displayed on the printer. I had a paperjam last night. I removed the paper and it worked ok. This morning it displayed this error message and...

6A00 is AP position error.
First, make sure there is no paper jam anywhere in the machine.. look inside, rear, where the paper tray (output) is, etc to see if you find any shreds or torn paper that may have gotten stuck and you didn't see.Look carefully in the zone of Purge unit, using flashlight in the right side on printer. If this not help your printer need service.

2575 paper jam

This worked for me. If "Paper Jam" error message continues to appear after jam has been cleared, turn off power to printer. Navigate to Control Panel - Printers, right click on HP Photosmart 2570 series icon, click on Delete on drop down menu. This deletes printer from your system. Turn on power to printer. Printer will re-install (may need original installation disc, may not). "Paper Jam" error message should no longer appear.
