Question about Marantz Audio Players & Recorders
I have a Marantz NR1603 hooked via an HDMI to my LG smart TV and my spotify premium subscription sometimes plays great and other times it freezes or show empty playlists, or says "no Internet connection" when the Internet is connected, and sometimes says " please wait...connecting...assigning". (Pandora always works.) I'm baffled...any suggestions?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You don't get the OSD on the screen because either the HDMI cable for the TV isn't plugged in the OUT plug (the one on the right) or the tv isn't set on the correct AV source (it should be n HDMI1 - if you have plugged the cable correctly on the tv).

SOURCE: How do I connect my
Marantz SR4003 has three HDMI Inputs and one HDMI Output ports at rear, plug one HDMI cable in Ouput port and connect it in Sony HDMI input.
Now plug DVR HDMI output, PS3 HDMI output in Marantz SR4003 HDMI inputs at rear.
Below image of Marantz SR4003 shows how you run HDMI cables, output cable goes in TV input and two inputs coming from DVR and PS3
Hope these info will help you in connection setup.

I have the same problem. Used to work even on Iphone 4 and suddenly it just stopped working about 10 days ago. Very strange as i have not updated my iphone (I'm on Version 4.02). My Denon dock is ASD-3W (wifi) connected to Denon 3808CI.
Any info appreciated.

SOURCE: I have an Onkyo TX-SR605
No but you may be able to help me. I have the same amp and ps3. I have HDMI leads from both but cannot get sound or picture. I do get the set up menu which means it recognises the HDMI lead. How is yours set up ?

SOURCE: no image, only sound when
Whatever video components you have, they should be, depending on inputs on TV, should be run to TV first. Recievers do have pass through ports but, are not the best way to achieve picture and sound. HDMI cables are great but you r reciever may not be able to transfer the video. What I suggest is taht you run your componenets, cable/sat box, DVD, etc. via HDMI, componenet, etc., to TV input, then, run audio out from TV, via(best) digital optical. You can use TV's menu to choose what you watch while, you only have the one input to reciever. Scan your recievers menu to make sure you have selected the proper mode(TV, Aux, Vid2, etc.).. If you run your video unit to TV with component cables, you will have to get your sound through separate cable(s). Component cables have graet video, but do not carry the sound.
