If its anything like my acer aspire 3000....if you tip it up and look to your left upper corner there is a small rectangle almost sqaures piec youtake out two screws undo another screw holding the housesing pull the tab on housing and voila! hard drive.happy hunting-z

No. I have tried a 250 Gb but my 2303 wont carry it. it will only recognize up to 130Gb but I did not try it with a 120Gb internally, my 250Gb IDE -HDD will run as an external but there is a power surge warning that comes up when I connect it, however I can run a 500 Gb SATA HDD with out this happening. Hi there Underneath the laptop you will find some panels with screws
in them, 1 is for the memory, 1 is for the hard drive and so on, the
laptop HDD will look similar to this >>>>> . They are pretty easy to replace once you are familiar with them. If you can't find it underneath it will be hidden behind a panel at the front or sides of the laptop.
