Feed the paper in the back press the paper advance button while pushing the paper in the rear slot, and it should feed the paper through.

First feed it through the back, then cut the paper to form a V then feed this from the bottom and finally when you push feed it grabs the paper! Why they never put this in the instructions is beyond me!

Okay...It took me forever to figure it out but I finally got it. On the back of the calculator there is a slot (back meaning where the black cord is connected to the calculator). fold the paper to make a perfect straight line. feed the paper through there and press thee upward arrow. it should work.
