Just had same problem. Take carbs off and clean all jets and bowl. Be carful front and rear carb have different sized jets. When you put quad back together put entire airbox together even the cover. This quad will backfire unless air box is complete. I bet you anything your carb is full of trash.

Valve adjustement and carb syncronization will help your problem, make sure that the carbs are sitting properlly in the carb boots, and tighten the clamps properlly.

"06" Brute Force 750 back firing thru the carburators

Sounds like you may have to do a complete carburetor cleaning. Also, after this is done, be sure to put the breather box back and that includes the box cover. That bike is not worth a fiddlers, ..... without that cover put back on it. If the carburetor cleaning is not done properly then you'll still have the problem. Also, be careful when taking the carbs apart, they have different size jets in them and don't move anything in regards to linkages. Those carbs are also syncronized.

If that don't do it, then maybe, you'll need your valve clearances adjusted.

Good luck

Kawasaki 650 brute force won't start

Sounds like to me that your motor is locked up, take the CVT cover off and see if you can turn the primary clutch with your hands. If your not able to turn the primary clutch, then the motor is locked up. Good Luck.
