Hi Bob,

Solution is simple and affordable, just take your radio to your nearest radio shack or similar store and ask for a stereo to mono adapter to fit into the the extension speaker/ headphone point on your radio, if it has one fitted, and I assume it does.

I hope you find this useful.

Cheers,
Peter

https://www.cobra.com/support call their customer service number, I didn't see the chargers for sale individually here, but I would think they'd sell them since they sell the radios.

My speaker has become disabled on my samsung admire, how do i enable it to where i can talk to someone and they can hear me?

I had the same problem on my phone. Turns out that I had recently used ear phones on the phone. When removing the earphones, a contact in the earphone jack didn't re-seat properly. The phone thought earphones were still installed even though they weren't. By re-inserting and then re-removing the earphones, the contact freed up. The phone works fine now.

One earbud stopped working

what happens is inside the cord where you have your ear phones connecting to your ipod, there is a thin wire that can easily brake. it happens if u for example, rap your ear phones around your ipod. if your rap the chords to tight, the wire can break. it can even brake when you move the cord too much. such as spinning it, shaking it and such.
the wire that breaks connects to one side or both sides of your earphones, which produces the sound. if you can hear only on one side, the cord is damaged and cant be fixed.

i would go and buy new ear phones
i perfer skullcandy in-ear earphones because the wire is secrurly wrapped, and doesnt brake easily such as other producers. the skullcandy ear phones are in my mind are much better then other earphones. you actually feel like your in the room or at a live show.

My earphones won't work

Usually this is a problem with the wires in the earphones themselves actually being broken or the connection on the earplugs is too small. I suggest borrowing another pair of earphones to make sure the problem actually is in the Zen. If another pair works, you know the issue is the earphones. If the problem remains even with different earphones, take a look in the earphone jack hole to make sure nothing is stuck in it like paper or something. If everything is clean, the earphone jack or its soldered connections inside the Zen may be cracked and will require the unit to be opened and serviced.

Perhaps you can open the player and solder the head socket it may have some dry joints there.
