Question about Toshiba Satellite U305-S2804 Laptop
This is a standard feature, it does this to save the battery. Go to Start > Control Panel > Display, and click on "Screen Saver". There is an option here of how long it will wait before the screen saver comes up (which may be set to blank). Then go into Start > Control Panel > Power Options and set the scheme or monitor to turn off at your specified interval.
If these are not the problem, we will need your model number. Refer to your PC's documentation to find out how to change vendor settings, which is most likely done as a "hot key" (usually present as an alternate option on the fuinction keys).
