SOURCE: LCD TV, Sound doesn't work on freeview.

When watching freeview, check the settings in the menu,if this doesn't produce any remedy then a quick and easy solution, all you need is a set of rca/phono leads, connect the tv to an amp via the rca(phono)audio out from the back of the tv to an audio in(rca/phono)on the back of an amp, most stereo systems will have an audio in of if you have a surround amp even better, just remember to select aux on the stereo and you should then have sound.

SOURCE: samsung lcd with built in freeview, changes the source on its own, remote not working either

Check its panel control switches. Replace the panel control board. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. You can also click the [Home] tab to see the latest updates. It will make search easy. There are more than 1350 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older posts there.

Sanyo DVR-V100E DVD recorder +VCR - will this model record any terrestial digital channels?

It does NOT have a built in freeview tuner. You would have to connect a Freeview box to one of the scart sockets and set it to record from the AV channel the box is connected to.

How do you retune Freeview channel 5 for a Sanyo Digitital TV

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

http://www.freeview.co.uk/_retuneinfo/

If the above process does not work then check the link above for additional information and also visit the accompanying site links below to find more information for your model of TV / FREEVIEW box.

Built in freeview doesn't work but digibox does

Have you done a channel search on both tv sources(atv and dtv). most new tv's will automatically start will "New Install". If you havent had a digital installed recently then this could the problem. set top boxes and TV's will pick up the signal ok but others wont.

Im trying to tune in my old super nintendo my lcd tv that has built in freeveiw but i cant find the channel!

Has your freeview tv got a built in RF i.e (not a digital freeview) tuner? If it hasnt then you wont be able to tune it into your LCD TV by connecting it through your aerial socket. However I think you can get a cable so that you can plug the nintendo directly into a scart or rgb input. Something like this.

http://www.consoleplus.co.uk/product_info.php?pName=av-cable-for-gamecuben64-and-snes&osCsid=0d6106987e4b7a95fc32bf0d45a3b6d1

Then you can just switch to your scart or rgb source on your telly and play on your snes.
