Question about HEWLETT-PACKARD Hewlett Packard Pavilion MS237 WW650AA Desktop Computer - AMD Athlon II X2 250u Dual-core 1.60 GHz - All-in-One 4... (WW650AAABA)
Over heating and shuts down, place a small fan behind it and it stays cool. Is it possible for me to change the fan myself and how do I know which fan I need?
It really depends on the fan. If it is the fan that is sitting on top of the processor you can see if you can find a replacement fan for that heatsink or just replace the heatsink with a new one. If it is the case fan then take the fan out and take it to the nearest electronic store and match the size. It is a very easy swap.
