Question about Canon Pixma MP500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Canon Pixma MP500 - As the printer makes its adjustments after printing in particular, there is a repeated and loud banging noise from inside and towards the back of the printer (near the paper feeder). It's like something is catching or is spinning and not able to grab on to the right bit and so it bangs repeatedly.
I'd check that there's nothing that's fallen into the rear paper feed that is now causing the rollers to jam and release with the bang you mention.
If you're feeling brave I'd try holding the printer upside down (get a friend to help you and watch out for the scanner sliding out!) and give it a bit of a shake to see if anything drops out.
