Hey! I just solved this. Unfortunately there is no information out there about this. I hope I can save you some money still:

Get a knife or something flat to stick in the right side of the washer's toe panel. To identify the toe panel, it is the plastic cover that sits right at the bottom of your washer.

Pry it off and hopefully you should see your troubleshooting manual. Ignore it as I already read it and its not helpful either.

You would now notice a black circle that you can unscrew. This is the pump's filter. Get some towels ready as some water will be lodged here.

Open it up slowly as to not make a huge mess. After fully unscrewing just pry whatever got stuck here and you should be golden.

Your machine should run perfectly afterwards

Thanks for the help! This was spot on perfect! I managed to use the toe panel as a water scoop into a bucket. Slowly unscrew partially, fill toe panel, tighten, dump, repeat. About 13 quarts of water. But found the sweatpants tie string. Thanks :)

My A10 washing machine is faulty displaying the EF fault display. Can you please tell me what this means? Regards, Frank Stead 0427969873

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I suspect that means 'Error Filter' -sorry I do not recognise the make of your washer from just A10 ;-0(

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Fdd914 dishwasher error code A10 appears and its not in the booklet

Hi, the interpretation for error code A10 is: A10 = fill solenoid valve triac closed/open circuit - check valve/ operation - machine drains until level switch resets + 30"

Now, to try and solve the problem yourself: Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher & remove the hose, Run the machine for several minutes in a normal position. Turn the machine off, reconnect the fill hose, turn the water back on then turn the machine back on.

If this doesn't solve the problem, then you'll need to call a service person.

Problems with Whirlpool WFC7500VW Washer? Get code A10 & won't reset.

A10 is a long drain cycle. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not clogged or kinked. Could be a clogged or bad pump.
