Hi you should put your graphic card to slot 0 pcie. Switch your on card on and uninstall drivers. Put your graphic in correct slot and power up your machine and check if is detected by system, then install driver for it. If successful restart and disable on board card.

Graphic card

Yes provided the expansion slot on the motherboard can fit this graphics card. If your motherboard has a built-in graphics chip then you most likely need to disable the on-board graphics before installing this graphics card and driver..

Can't install drivers for GeForce GT 430. "Graphics Adapter Not Found."

I am assuming that your PC is working alright connected to the onboard graphics port.
Make sure any supplementary power connectors to your video card are in place, and the card is firmly inserted into the PCIE slot.
If you try these two items with no results, you might try installing the card in a known working PC. It could be a problem with the card itself.

HOW TO INSTALL bfgr981024gtge

  1. This card installs into a PCIE slot on your mainboard. Hopefully you have done your homework and your PC has this type of connection.
  2. Observe Static precautions to prevent ESD which damages components.
  3. With the computer off, remove the existing card (if any) in the PCIE slot. Take a moment and some geek spray to blow out the slot and surrounding area.
  4. Look at the card physically. If it has a 6 pin power connector, you need to connect that to your power supply. Some video cards will ship with an adapter to convert a 4 pin molex into a 6 pin PCIE adapter. Again, hopefully you have already taken this into consideration.
  5. Gently insert the card straight in, applying gentle pressure to get the card to seat. The mounting clip should line up to your case when it's all the way in.
  6. Once it's seated, install a screw or clip to secure the card.
  7. Connect VGA (blue) or DVI cable (white) to the monitor.
  8. Start computer.
  9. The display may look very large. This is normal until drivers, etc. are installed.
  10. Visit www.nvidia.com to get the drivers (software) for your card. Select your specific model. (9800GT) and your version of windows.
  11. Download the drivers.
  12. Once it finished double-click the file to begin the setup process.
  13. Do not run any other programs while the setup program is running, including browsers, antivirus, etc.
  14. Once the installed is running, choose the express option if available. Otherwise the default options should do just fine.
  15. Once it's done it will probably ask you to restart the system. Go ahead.
  16. If there are any problems please post back where you got stuck and what happened.

When sound card connected in PCI slot the comp will hang over and over when i try to install driver of 4 channel tlink card. how i can slove the problem and which card is most suitable with Gigabyte...

This is gigabyte's link for your board, there are 4 different revisions, you can see the different choices at the top. Anyway, you have a PCIe x 16 slot so you could go with a Radeon HD graphics card, ATI has a DVI to HDMI adaptor that works great. Two things, what is make and model of the card you are installing and where are you getting your download from? You may have to dedicate the slot in Bios. Let me know.

Dell Optiplex GX620 not recognizing PCIe video cards

Hello,

One of two things could be doing this:

1: Bad Video Cards
2: Bad PCIe slot(s)

If avaliable, I would test the video cards on a PC with a PCIe slot to verirfy if the cards are good/bad. If they work, your PCIe slot is bad and need to have the motherboard replace to correct.

Good Luck

Ati HD 3650 No Signal

1st. Is it a new install?
If not, then check to make sure your bios on your motherboard is set up to display from your pcie slot and not your integrated graphics if applicable. Also, if your card has a 6pin power plug make sure you have it plugged in.
Also, if you had a different card installed prior, make sure you uninstall all video drivers prior to installing the new one.

No signal in PCIe slot 1 With new graphics card

Have you checked how the BIOS is setup to recognize the added video card? You may have to change a setting in there. It could be that it thinks the old card is still there or you may need to uninstall the old cards drivers and then install the new cards drivers after reboot.

Installing a pcie vid card

as for the pcie slot you need to enter the startup setup and choose the graphics card that your computer uses which is mainly the "integrated periferals" menu, then choose that the pcie card is your primary graphice card or simply disable your older card.
