SOURCE: Sears 4 Ton Hydraulic Automotive Floor Jack-Will Not Lift ?

I had the same problem with a 3 ton sears jack and here is what I did. I pulled the jack all the way to the top, the piston should be fullley extended. Then I added oil to the jack. You will have to work the piston back and forth, (.5 in or so) and continune to add oil while doing this until no more air comes out. The method fix my 3 ton jack. Hope this helps

Where do I check the hydraulic fluid on a mahindra 3016 hst

I'm not terribly too sure about the Mahindra, but I have recently had to check my hydraulic fluid and I consulted with the manual. Do you have a manual for your vehicle? If you don't, then I would get a repair kit which should have some instructions that could help you out with your situation. https://www.hydrapakseals.com/storefrontCommerce/hydraulicRepair.do

First, go to Pepboys and buy a repair manual for this vehicle. You need a repair manual with full instructions and probably a hydraulic lift to get underneath~!

The hydraulic life quit working on the tail gate. are they replaceable or fixable?

Often they are... places like jcwhitney.com or such will let you match specific to your vehicle. I'm not a fanboy of jcwhitney, there are many sources so feel free to search, but here are some links to examples. Just enter your make, model, year and you'll find out if yours can be done. Good luck!

Top worked fine yesterday but today tried to let down only clicked

It is a hydraulic pump that applies pressure to the 2 hydraulic pistons to raise & lower the top. So, check for something obstructing movement first.

The convertible top:
  • is motor-driven.
  • requires parking brake engaged to complete circuit for operation.
  • is equipped with a back window glass (42006) . The back window glass is permanently attached to the folding top back window curtain (52500) and cannot be opened.

My right side steering doesn't engage at all

first check to see that you have enough hydraulic fluid in the resevoir and that the right side hydraulic pump is not leaking....there is the possibility that the lever that controls the right side is slipping on the shaft where it connects to the pump causing this condition...if you have the manual the mower came with ..you need to go to the procedure for bleeding the air out of the pump....if it is not in the manual, you can call a dealer for the instructions or order a service manual....if all the above does not fix the problem... then you may need to get a rebuild kit for the hydraulic pump...these are not too expensive..but they beat buying a new pump as pumps are anywhere from 400-700 dollars

Villager GE 95 liquid escape in a brake system

It is a brake load sensoing valve that applies more pressure to the rear brakes as you load the vehicle. It is $375 from tascafordparts.com. Get one from the junk yard or just bypass it.

usually just the lines are leaking and can be replaced.
Valve, Brake Load Sensor Proportioning The Villager has a brake load sensor proportioning valve (2B547) that is mounted on the vehicle frame and connected to the rear axle housing (4010) . When the vehicle is unloaded, the brake load sensor proportioning valve closes and partially reduces hydraulic pressure to the rear wheel cylinders (2261) . As the vehicle is loaded, the weight presses down the back end of the vehicle on the rear springs (5560) . This activates the brake load sensor proportioning valve which opens and supplies more hydraulic pressure to the rear wheel cylinders . When the vehicle is fully loaded, the brake load sensor proportioning valve is fully open and provides full hydraulic pressure to the rear wheel cylinders .
