SOURCE: Bosch nexxt 500 series dryer

I have a Siemens dryer and few days ago it stopped heating, but the drum rotates. The problem was because of a safety reset button that went off. On the Siemens (WT dryer series), it is a red button behind the dryer.

Press the red button and it will restart. I might have started a fire, if not for this safety switch.

A similar reset button must have tripped on the Bosch dryer.

FYI: Remember Bosch and Siemens share their technology.

SOURCE: My Bosch Condensation dryer (W2L 5400) won't heat up -- can't find the reset button

you need to remove the centre metal plate, after powering off the dryer. The small red reset button is on one of the black plactic connects on my model (WTA4408)

SOURCE: Bosch WTA 3100 Tumble Dryer ON/OFF switch

The on/off switch is combined with the door release switch in one item - part number 154145 (a little over £20) and my problem was the door interlock bit had failed. The following worked for me :
Plug out, remove top panel, and open door + look up at switch panel - you see 5 slots under the switch panel (the 2 outer ones are mostly covered by the main front panel). Start at either side and work across, using as wide-bladed a screwdriver as will fit across the slot width : put a wood block under blade as a support and lever bottom of panel towards front - each has a plastic pin behind pointing towards the rear, held by a spring clip. Each will pop clear and when all are unclipped you rotate the panel outwards from the bottom edge, taking the timer knob and its drive linkage with it. To get switch out I removed the door and the screws around the main front panel - one is hidden behind a cover plug below the access port (to gain access to bottom screws on main panel, lever the bottom panel outwards along its top edge).

How can I correct error e09 f01?

I had the same problem but the reset suggested above didn't work for long. As it turns out, I had a sock stuck in my trap. Gettign to it was a pain because this model doesnt have a convenient access door in the front. I made a video below that can show you how to check the trap.

MACHINE NOT WORKING JUST START AND SHOWING E09

E:09 is a fault detected in the heating circuit. Try first tripping circuit breaker (or disconnecting power cord) for five minutes and see if this can clear the error. If not, unfortunately this is a very common issue and it means that your control board inside the door has failed. There is a relay on the board that shorts out. This relay sends power to the heater, so when it fails the dishwasher doesn't wash well and it will run forever trying to heat the water which will never happen. Below is a link to the control board in the upper right hand corner of the door you'll need to replace in order to fix the problem.

this is for a bosh washer machine please comment.

How to fix a Bosch dishwasher a anti xx with a eo9 fault

E09
Heating circuit fault.
As above, this is most probably going to be an issue with the heating element as the thermistors have their own fault codes below.
