Hoo, I understand the problem now!

Information I stated I was going to post;

1) Malwarebytes Anti-Malware,

Free version from CNET,

Click on - Download Now in the green rectangle.
(Has CNET Secure Download in it)

Give it a few seconds, and a small window will pop up -
Opening mbam-setup-1.70.0.1100.exe

Click on Save File

A small download window will pop-up.
Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

There may be another small window that comes up, and states,
""mbam-setup-1.70.01100.exe is an executable file. Executable files may contain.....ya-da, ya-da..............

It's OK Alice, I assure you. Click on OK.

Now perhaps a Microsoft 'Squawk Box' will come up,
Open File - Security Warning
Do you want to run this file?

YES, Click on Run

Another smaller small window will come up. (Pretty 'technical', huh? lol!)
Select Setup Language

English - OK

Now agree, and follow the simple instructions.

When finished you may be asked to restart your computer. If not, I suggest restart your computer anyway.

Double-click on the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware icon on your desktop screen.

If a small window comes up stating Malwarebytes database is out of date, click on Yes. (Mine was out of date 12 days)

You have your choice of;
Perform quick scan,
Perform full scan
Perform flash scan

For the first time I would suggest Full Scan.
After that I use Quick Scan, but the choice is yours.

This version Alice, does not automatically start when you turn your computer on. Does not watch over emails, online websites, or downloads in Real Time.
You have to start this version of Malwarebytes manually.

Start, and run manually at times you have scheduled.

I also use the free version of AVG with it. It DOES work in real time.

Click on the Orange -> Download

Plus I use CCleaner, a free registry cleaner.

When you go to a website, you pick up cookies. Purportedly harmless little bits of info. That's nice, but they take up room on your harddrive, too.

Everytime you delete a program, or delete files, there are fragmented bits of files left behind. These take up room on your harddrive.
There are a lot of things that are done, that leave fragmented files behind, and all of them take up room on your harddrive.

When a harddrive reaches 50 percent full, it starts slowing down.
This is really noticed when the harddrive reaches 70 percent full, and higher.
Remember how fast the computer was when you first got it?

Defragment in Windows does not alleviate these file fragments. This is why you need a registry cleaner.
CCleaner is a free registry cleaner, and is as good as paid for versions, and better than some.

Going through all the 'bells and whistles', to get to the actual download page,

Go to the top/right, and click on - Download latest version - in blue.

Took about 8 seconds, then a small window came up,
Opening ccsetup326.exe
Click on Save File

Same Ol' warning windows will come up;
Open Executable File?
and,
Open File - Security Warning

Click on OK, and click on Run.

Select your language. It should state English. Click on OK.
Click on Next, at the bottom of the next small window.
Click on - I Agree - (Unless you wish to read the License Agreement first)

Suggest leave all boxes checked. (Green checkmark)
Click on Install.
In the next window you can click on Finish, and view the Release notes, PLUS start CCleaner; or you can un-check both boxes to do neither, or one box.

Want to see the Release notes? Leave the box checked.
Want to start CCleaner, without viewing Release notes?
Click on the box to the left to remove the green checkmark.

Click on Finish.

When CCleaner opens, it automatically opens to the Cleaner part of the program.
You'll see the Cleaner icon area surrounded by a darkened rectangle.

Go to the bottom leftt, and click on Analyze.
When finished go to the bottom right, and click on Run Cleaner.
A small window will come up -

"This process will permanently delete files from your system.
Are you sure you wish to proceed?"

Click on OK.

(In the over 3 years I have been using it, I have never deleted any files I shouldn't have, using the above method)

Now go to the left, and click on the Registry icon.
Go to the bottom left, and click on - Scan for Issues.
When finished, go to the bottom right, and click on -
Fix selected issues......

A small window will come up -
CCleaner
Do you want to make backup changes to the registry?

For the first time you may wish to. Make a backup.
It will go in your Downloads folder.
File icon looks like the Registry icon in CCleaner.
Size amount of file will be next to the icon.

In this case you would click on Yes.

I may be fortunate, but I stopped making Backups after the second time of using CCleaner.
There was nothing I really needed to save. After a couple of weeks, I went to my Download folder, and deleted the save Backup.

I now click on No.
No I do not wish to save backup changes to the registry.
(Just click on No for the above)

Another small window will come up.
If you just have one to fix, the Fix Issue 'button' will be highlighted.
If you have more than one to fix, the Fix All Selected Issues 'button', will be highlighted.
There is also a Close 'button'.

Since I have more than one to fix, I will click on the -
Fix All Selected Issues -'button'.
When done click on Close in that small window.

That's it.
I suggest leaving anything else alone. These settings are for a more advanced user.

One of the folowing two ways will work. The first method takes
Official ways:
  • Find the recovery disk you made when you set up your computer.
  • Hold down F8 while the laptop is booting up. Select Safe Mode. Select Administrator Account.
  • Go into another, unprotected account. Go to Control Panel and change the password on the target account
  • Perform a clean install of your operating system
If you've already tried all of the above, or they are out of the question:
  • Vistit http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/
  • Download the .iso file
  • Burn to disc
  • Load in Toshiba Satellite
  • Boot from CD

Sit back and wait 30 seconds; write down the password that Ophcrack delivers so you don't have to go through all of this again

How do I unlock a toshiba satellite pslc8u-03g01u laptop without passcode


One of the folowing two ways will work. The first method takes < 5 minutes but doesn't work if the Administrator Account is also password-protected. The second method takes about 20 minutes from beginning to end, but never fails.
The easiest way, if it works:
Hold down F8 while the laptop is booting up. Select Safe Mode. Select Administrator Account.
I imagine you've already searched for a recovery disk or you know you never made one. If the above doesn't work you can always perform a clean install of your operating system.
Otherwise:
  • Vistit http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/
  • Download the .iso file
  • Burn to disc
  • Load in Toshiba Satellite
  • Boot from CD
Sit back and wait 30 seconds; Ophcrack has never failed to find a Windows password for me. This would be the quickest and easiest method if you already had Ophcrack burned to CD.

I have a Telefunken TMP-444B, 4GB MP3/4 player. The setup soft ware disc does not load to any of my computors. Where can I download it. Cannot load music onto the player


Hopefully you got a solution already, but here goes mine: I also had a Telefunken TMP-444B, 4GB MP3/4 and i found you don't need a cd (my cd also didn't work). Try connecting it to your pc via usb-cable and access it on your PC. Simply copy your Mp3 or mp4 files onto it and see it should work. Mine did. Hope yours will.
(Just take care when deleting files, because i don't know if important files are protected on your mp3/4 player). Take care anyway ;-)

I accidentaly deleted cyberlink power dvd off my new computor as it was already installed i dont have a disc. any sugestions


If you dont have the disc and the product key for the cyberlink power dvd then i would suggest you an alternative to go ahead and install VLC player which supports all the media files and has all the latest codecs.
To download VLC Player go to the below mentioned link and install the software

On one particular DVD (UP from Disney/Pixar) a certain section keeps repeating. When I stop the DVD to try accessing the root menu it freezes up and the entire sound bar locks. The only way to resolve this...


Those discs have a very strong copy protection mechanism to avoid making digital copies on PC systems but some DVD players won't play them because of that, if you have the original movie, download a copy from the internet, burn it to a dvd-r disc and play it. It's perfectly legal because you already bought the movie. The downloaded copies have no copy protection and will play better than the original.
The PHILIPS DVD-Home theater players are specially picky about non-standar disk like the one you're trying to watch.
