Why do you say fuse? The control unit for flashers is a relay switch these will fail at some point. When they do lights may not flash at all or may stay on continuously.

My left turn signal recently stopped working. Before ceasing to work, the turn signal (just the left) would blink very rapidly (machine gun speed).

sounds like one of light bulbs was malfunctioning and caused the flasher unit to blink rapidly and iy burned out. Replace front and rear turn lite bulbs and see if flasher flashes. if not check fuse and replace fuse. If fuse okay replace flasher unit. Good luck

The fuse for a right turn signal on a 2001 Buick Park Avenue

The left an right turn signals get there power from same fuse ,HZDT/SG fuse 15amp in the left under hood fuse box. through the turn signal hazard flasher module. Here is how they work .
Turn Signal/Cornering Lamps
The HZDT/SIG fuse in the fuse block - underhood - left supplies battery positive voltage to the turn signal/hazard flasher module and have ground at G202. The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in the ON or ACCY position. The T/SIG fuse in the fuse block - underhood - left supplies battery positive voltage to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, current flow is from the turn signal switch assembly to the turn signal/hazard flasher module. The turn signal/hazard flasher module then sends an on-off voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, all the turn signal lamps will flash including both IPC turn signal indicators. The left turn signals have ground at G106, G400 and at G402. The right turn signals have ground at G105 and G400. The turn signal switch supplies battery positive voltage to the cornering lamps, the left cornering lamp has ground at G105 and the right cornering lamp has ground at G106.The turn signal switch or the turn / hazard flasher module is bad or there is a wiring problem. Go to you tube an check out a few videos on basic electrical testing ,then get a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter , an wiring diagram an trouble shoot the circuit . There may even be a video on test turn signal circuit .

Rear hazard flashers don't work 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier

Hazard flasher power comes from the 20A S/LP fuse in the fuse block. It is applied to the hazard flasher in the convenience center. Flasher output is applied to the turn/hazard/headlight SWITCH assembly where activation of the HAZARD switch causes flashing power to be applied to the turn indicators and the turn filaments of the front and rear dual park/turn lights. If replacing the fuse doesn't work, trace the power through the circuit. Check for misssing/disconnected ground wires.

Signal lights stopped working

If the fuse is good and the flashers work then you have a bad signal flasher, this car uses two flashers in one located under the dash, one controls the hazard lights and the other the signals, these are all inside one flasher, so turn on the hazards to locate it by listening to clicking noise. i have inclosed a diagram to help locate it. its on leftside kick panel by your left foot, replace the flasher and see if that does it, good day12_6_2011_6_03_02_pm.gif

You changed the hazard flasher or the turn signal flasher? It has two, one for the hazard and one for the turn signals

Renault laguna 1.9tdi dynamique 51 reg. hazard warning lights do not work, changed fuse still not working. whats wrong with them

If your turn signals work, then replace the flasher for your hazards. Turn your key on then give a left turn signal. Listen for the "clicking" sound near your brake pedal and accelerator. Once you locate your turn signal flasher (small, "cylinderical", device) the hazard flasher should be near it. Simply pull out the flasher and replace... just plugs in.

Location of flasher for turn signal

  1. Access the COMBINATION Turn Signal and Hazard INDICATOR FLASHER on the Left-Hand (drivers) side of the instrument panel in the fuse junction panel.
  1. Remove turn signal flasher/hazard indicator flasher by pulling indicator flasher straight out.
  1. To install, align the terminals of the flasher and press into place.
