The upper thread is constantly breaking. Don't know how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Check the tension for upper thread and bobbin(tiny screw to turn anticlockwise to give less tension)

have you tried changing your thread supplier or brand? some brands are stronger and same as people like their coffee differently, some machines have a preference to different thread.

Thread broken indicator

It may be that the upper thread sensor flag has come off the check spring at the bottom of the takeup arm cover - unfortunately this is not user-fixable and needs Bernina agent action. This happens frequently with people who, when finishing with a spool of thread, pull the thread backwards out of the machine - you should never do this. You can turn the sensor off by going into the menu that has an arrow with a box around it, but this is only a temporary fix and you should have the machine looked at.

My bernina 440 qee embrodery module reports thread break and stops every 30 stitches alhough the thread is OK - can someone help?

The check spring might need to be adjusted. There's a flag and sensor mounted to the check spring that tells the computer when the thread has broken or run out. Might want to have a Bernina dealer check it out.

Problem with Bernina 630

Sounds like one of your thread sensors is misaligned, covered in lint or broken, get a can of canned air and clean out your bobbin case area and you top tension area to ensure no lint/thread is blocking the sensors. If you still are having problems, find your local independent sewing store in your town that gives free estimates and see what they say.

-Hope that helps,
