Question about Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Wireless Keypad Model 976LM Security+
When attempting to change the door opener light I must have touched the opener casing with the bulb wire. The opener now does not work and nor does the outlet into which it was connected. None of our breakers flipped off though. We connected the opener to a known working outlet, but still no luck... And yes we tried the remote but still no activity. Whatever happens we will need to find the opener's breaker too. The panel isn't labelled fully, and as we are recent occupiers of the house we don't have a clue which is the opener's breaker switch. No mention of a fuse in the opener within its manual.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

It sounds like the lock function has been toggled on. Press and hold the button on the wall control with the lock icon for 3 seconds. This will toggle that function off.

This is not too uncommon. What tripped the breaker in your house also got to one of the relays on the logic board of your opener. The only cure I know of is a new logic board.

Report this problem to the Manufactuer stating your model number of controller and remotes too and they may help solve your problem faster than getting offside with your neighbour, apart from that the remotes and motor controller may need replacing to give you more security and control over your own secure enviroment,
I have fitted many security devices,alarm panels,cameras,sensors,keypads,etc,
and never had to repair this type of fault as the supplier or manufactuer has always assisted with their products thru warantee or advice,
I have 20 years of experience in the industy in NZ,Thanks MISTERDJ
