Just bought a confidence power plus treadmill plugged it on the mains, turned it on and the LED monitor showed SAFE. I put the safety magnet on and nothing happened. What can I do to make it work?

T700 treadmill console not working. Plugged in & worked; reached 3mph & removed safety magnet. Console went black; won't come on. Power switch lights up; lower board led light shows power on.

The treadmill will not run if you remove the safety magnet. Replace the safety magnet and reset the treadmill. Should start working again.
Thanks.

My church got me the pink confidence Treadmill And I can't get it to start when I turn it on it says safe ! Hey did not come with the key nor a bolt please help me I am willing to buy it

There is a saftey cord that has a round magnet that goes in the control panel on what looks like a white round spot on your pic
if you have a refrig magnet about that size you could try that as it is just a round magnet on the end of a cord so if you fall off it stops

Treadmill won't run the screen is showing E7

You probably need a technician to look at it. I would say the motor that runs the treadmill is faulty due to a fuse that has blown you would have to locate where this is first replace it and proceed to the nxt step. I say you may need a technician cos often you are dealing with mains power or small dc voltage in any case one should carry this out in a safe way.If you are not confident ring a professional Tech.

My Bowman treadmill 7 series stopped working. It just shows 2 words: safe out. Please help.

Make sure the magnetic safety key ('safety pull' or 'emergency stop magnet') is in place. SAFE OUT indicates that the safety key is not in position or is otherwise not working properly.

I'm guessing the internal fuse is blown, which is part of the safety feature when you pull the magnetic key off. You need to put the little magnetic key onto the "stop" area after each use, and it will re-set. If you take the key off "start" and the machine stops, you can't start again until you put the key on "stop". Once you do that, the main switch should work again.

Treadmill will not start - say "Safe" on the Monitor

I'm not overly familiar with the Landice treadmills, although it sounds like it's not registering the safety key. Usually either a magnetic key or a slide key. Make sure your safety key is making good contact and if it's a magnetic key, that there's actually a magnet in it (sometimes they fall out without anyone noticing). If it's a key that you slide in to activate, see if there's any play in the port when you put the key in (wiggle it around) and if that works, the contact switch is slightly out of place. If the magnet is present and it's still not registering, either the reed switch inside the console has shifted and is too far away from the key magnet or it's malfunctioning (broken reed, shorted wire etc.)

Shows "safe out" but the magnet is in?

I had the same problem, however the treadmill2_bing.gif remained in 'safe out' status even when the Safety pull pin was correctly inserted.
The cause of my fault was that one of the kids decided to insert a wrist watch into the round hole located on the control panel's lower cover. In doing so this unplugged the cable connector for the magnetic switch which operates the 'safe out' function, from the main circuit board. The repair was quick and easy, i turned the power off, removed the bottom cover from the control panel and simply plugged the magnetic switch back into the main circuit board and all was back to normal.
