Question about Heavy Machinery
I have a John deere 333d skid loader and ill turn in on and after acouple minutes it pops up a message about derating 100% and before I know it it's at 50%. Idk what to do. My dealer never heard about it and the John deere head courters customer support have no Ida either. All they have told me is its the engines way of preventing damage and it could be caused by low fuel pressure so I should change the fuel filter but that didn't work. I'm out of ideas. Please help if anyone has any clues Thanks Hunter McVey
Did you check the return fuel line? there is a spring loaded ball valve beside the fuel injection pump. just replace it. it is because the said valve is for holding the pressure of fuel in pump gallery ,if it is not working properly the pressure goes down and engine became stop or no power. Please try.

Sometimes the levers go bad in the shifter, but I would first check the shifter to make sure the switches are engaging. You should also check the wiring on the motors in the rear. Sometimes they come loose and if they are not making a good contact the gator will not go in proper speeds.
You can get great help at http://www.shopjandl.com/mepu0002.html.
They have a toll free number and are very helpfull because the repair them as well.

Hey, the "round cylinder" is a power steering motor for a John Deere 630. If you start looking for one of those instead, I'll bet you'll have better luck. Deere dealerships tend to not care unless you're buying a half million dollars in equipment.

I want to add additional traction to my John Deere electric Gator. I have heard that you can somehow slip a bicycle tire over the plastic tires. Has anyone done this and how do you do it?

the peg perego gators have two switches in the shifter that need replaced.
I have replaced them before on my grandkid's gator.
Here is the website I get my parts from
You can also call them direct at 1.801.655.0800.
They seem to always know which part I need and I have always been very happy with their service.
Hope this helps
