SOURCE: HDMI from laptop to DVI plug on Hitachi big screen TV

To fix it, just turn the set off, let it discharge for a few hours. Reach in and remove the socket from the back of the tube and reinsert a few times to break through the corrosion.
This is a sign of weakness in the manufacturer of the guns and the connecting sockets. The metal used in the pin connections inside the socket are corroding and when you remove the socket and reinsert it cuts through the corrosion and makes good
contact again.

If still not working contact the support for your television..

Hope that helps......

SOURCE: hitachi 42hds69 turns on for about 20 minutes then

There is a componet that is heating up on the board then shutting the tv off when it fails, it is cooling off and working again. The problem is this can only be fixed with a diagram of the board to locate the faulty part. You will have to take it in to a service center for work. Sorry for the bad news, I hope this helps a little.

My bpt3002 wireless speaker will not charge

Try using the 5v power adaptor socket instead off the USB connection, see manual.
http://www.southerntelecom.com/polariodsupport/downloads/PBT3002.pdf
Also check the battery is secure inside the speaker.
The charging light is RED.
The laptop must be "on" all the time to charge via the USB socket!

Unit will not power up

When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

Battey not charging, red light flshing

Check the power adapter with a multi-meter, the voltage of the power plug that plugs into the power socket on the laptop should be slight higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the adapter.
If it is faulty, there are replacement power supplies available on the Internet or at your friendly computer shop.
If the adapter is OK then the power socket on the laptop is faulty or this socket has a dry solder joint connection on the motherboard.
You can test this by wriggling the power plug when it is connected to the laptop, if the charge LED flickers and if you hold this plug in a certain position the charge LED stays on without flickering, then the power socket is faulty.
This can be repaired, but requires the laptop to be completely
disassembled. I suggest you get a quote first.

It wont come on or charge

Check the power adapter with a multi-meter, the output voltage on the power plug that connects into the power socket of the laptop should be at a voltage slighly higher that the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage reading is low or none at all the the power adapter needs to be replaced.
If the voltage is OK then plug the power plug into the laptop and wriggle this plug in the socket. If the charge LED light flickers on and off and in a certain position the LED light stays firmly on then the power socket on the laptop is either faulty or there is a dry solder joint with the power socket where it attaches to the motherboard. This fault can be repaired but it requires dismantling the laptop completely to get access to the power socket. I sugest you get a quote first.
If connecting the power to the laptop doesn't work then the fault could be a faulty charging circuit/electronics and may require a replacement motherboard.
